Es gibt selten Projekte die ich so sehr unterstütze wie Sonic Iceland: es hat Island, es hat gute Musik, es hat den seltsamen Typen aus Köln der so fantastische Fotos macht und es hat so viel Potenzial, da würde ich am liebsten meine eigene Kohle reinstecken!

… wenn da nicht das kleine Problem wäre, dass ich selber etwas plane, und daher leider selber nicht so flüssig bin. Aber dafür gibt es ja bekanntlicherweise besser betuchte Sponsoren, die so direkt positiv in den Gedanken ihrer Zielgruppe verbleiben und einen wirtschaftlichen Profit aus der ganzen Sache ziehen. Ist jedenfalls besser als Links kaufen oder Blogkommentare zuspammen, glaubt mir.

Was ist Sonic Iceland?

Kai Mueller, blogger and photographer from Cologne and Marcel Krueger, German expat living in Dublin, are travelling to Iceland. Our aim is to create a portrait of Iceland and its music – and this not as the stereotype music journalists visiting Reykjavik for a long weekend. We are enthusiastic about music, and especially about the diversity of the Icelandic music.

We are going to meet the Icelandic people to see how they live, work, play and of course how they create their music – and how the country, its current situation and the incredible landscape is connected to all of this.
